Lakshmi Rai is good-looking, but not the stereotyped skinny starlet. The ravishing actress has been turning up the heat more and more with each movie she does, as her glam quotient rises. She's had her share of hits and misses in all four South Indian languages, but that has not dampened either her spirits or her fans' euphoria. She is having quite a successful run in Malayalam, where she is now working with stalwarts Mammootty and Mohanlal; in Telugu, she has a new movie opposite Ravi Teja. In Kannada also she is doing pretty well, and has signed a movie opposite Shivaraj Kumar. Her fun flick in Kollywood is Irumubu Kottai Murattu Singam, a Tamil Western which promises to be a hoot!

But that's not all. Hot in her dream-list is a role in a Hindi flick and if the rumour is true, she has already landed a role in a big movie and has moved to Mumbai to get herself ready for the Bollywood role. It is also said that she is working hard at the gym these days, because the Bollywood bosses want her to lose nine kilos for the part!
