Sanjay Dutt Knocks Out Kangana Ranaut

50-year old Sanjay Dutt has been shooting with 20-something Kangana Ranaut. And if they were looking super-compatible in spite of Kangana being half the age of Dutt, it’s all because of Dutt’s special ketosis-based diet.Says a source close to Dutt, “Sanjay went on this special diet in June. It required him to take lots and lots of fattie food and no carbohydrates at all. In fact carbs would’ve been potentially lethal for this diet. In no time Sanjay started losing weight. And that too without Sanju having to give up his favourite food.”

Today, Dutt is looking trimmer than he did ten years ago. And when he shot with Kangana last week, the camera made them look compatible.Dutt plays an assassin out to get his victim with a sniper rifle in Knock Out. Kangana Ranaut has always had a fascination for assassin heroes. She began her career with Gangster where her assassin-hero was Shiney Ahuja.Now in Mani Shankar’s Knock Out, she’s again attracted to the killer-hero, this time played by Sanjay Dutt.

The two became professionally fond of one another while shooting for the comedy No Problem in Cape Town. When Mani Shankar was looking for a bright intense young actress to play a television journalist it was Dutt who recommended Kangana to the director.

Kangana Ranaut is ready for marriage

Kangna Ranaut is having a great time shooting in Lucknow for Tanu Weds Manu. She is indulging her food and shopping passions in her free time. She isn’t getting married in real life but the actress who has veered towards comedy talks about her upcoming film, Tanu Weds Manu in which R. Madhavan is her co-star. If you are wondering where Kangna has been all this while, she has been in Lucknow. She says, ‘I’ve been busy shooting for my film Tanu Weds Manu in Lucknow for the last few days.It’s been a really fun time, in a really fun city, with a really fun cast and crew!On our very first day here, the director Anand Rai, discovered a delicious Chaat place and since then, there’s been no stopping us, it’s a chaat party on the sets and we often step out into the city to the restaurant to have a bite of the famous Lucknowi cuisine!

The people in Lucknow have been most kind and very hospitable and we are really enjoying our visit.’Kangna is a shopaholic and she and her sis are having a ball. ‘My sister Rangoli has been with me through this schedule, and we’ve had a lot of fun shopping for beautiful chikankari cloth and more. In fact I’m quite excited about my look in this film, as it’s the first time I have an all Indian look, with shararas and short kurtis, mojaris etc. The script is fun and the cast and crew are really nice as well,’ she says.She is all praise for her co-actor. ‘Maddy is an all time prankster with great stories up his sleeves and has us in splits all the time with his anecdotes. The team led by Shailesh Singh and Anand Rai is one of the most caring I’ve worked with,’ she smiles.

Knockout with Sanjay Dutt is her next film. ‘I am now looking forward to joining the crew on the sets of Knockout next. With so many films on my plate simultaneously, it is a challenge shifting so quickly from one character to another, but then life’s not fun without a challenge I guess!’ concluded the pretty actress.

Hooligans Harass Kangana Ranaut in Lucknow

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who is here to shoot for a film, was harassed by a group of hooligans in the Kaiserbagh locality of the city.

Kangana is here with co-stars R. Madhavan and Jimi Shergil for the past 10 days to shoot for Anand L. Rai's 'Tanu weds Manu'.

The incident took place Sunday at the Lal Baradari building where the cast and crew were shooting a sequence for the film around 10 p.m. It was a holiday, so a huge crowd, over 2,000, gathered around the location.

'It was horrible. A group of youngsters came very close to Kangana, Madhavan and Jimi and started passing lewd comments about her. Some of them also tried to touch Kangana,' a crew member told IANS.

However, the police denied the allegations.

'Keeping in view the huge gathering, we had deployed entire force of about four police stations at the Lal Baradari. The director, however, complained that due to the crowd they were having problems in shooting as people were coming into the frames,' inspector K.M. Singh of Kaiserbagh police station told IANS.

No police complaint has been lodged.

'We will surely register an FIR if anyone from the crew approaches us with a formal complaint,' Singh said.

Rai, who had earlier directed the thriller 'Strangers' starring Jimi and Kay Kay Menon, is scheduled to film 'Tanu weds Manu' in Kanpur, Faridkot, Patiala and New Delhi in the coming days.
