Katrina Kaif, the reigning beauty of filmdom, has joined the bandwagon of stars who will be participating in the grand Zee Carnival to be held on Independence day. Set to bring down the house, the lithe belle will perform alongside top-notch industry actors at the event to be held in Chicago.The majestic celebration that has been one of the most raved about events abroad will bring superstars like Shah Rukh, Bipasha, Katrina and love-birds Kareena and Saif on the same podium.
Katrina, who is currently holidaying with her family in London, is set to fly to US for attending the Independence Day celebrations.
Confirming the news, Katrina told reporters, "Yes I am going for the Zee carnival in Chicago." The stunner, who celebrates her birthday on July 16, has wisely decided to be with her family after last year her birthday bash became the venue of filmdom’s ugly face-off between Shah Rukh and Salman.
Talking about the star studded affair event, Karim Morani, who is handling the event said, “Katrina along with Shah Rukh, Bipasha, Kareena, Saif and other actors will be in Chicago for the event. It`s not a money-making exercise. This is basically an opportunity for the local Indians to meet and greet actors and interact with them."
