Talking about her premature exit, Shamita said, "I am just so excited about Shilpa`s wedding. Family comes first for me, so I couldn`t help but come out of the show to be with her."

While she was inside the house, Shamita could be seen really upset when she found out about her sister’s engagement, and that’s perhaps when she decided to leave the show to be a part of the grand celebration in her family.

“I’m so happy to be out. The minute I got out I grabbed the nearest person’s phone and called my sister. We are extremely close and I am so glad I am going to be able to attend her wedding,” said Shamita.

Shamita Shetty gets punished in Bigg Boss

We are all aware that English speaking is a strict no no in the Bigg Boss house. But looks like Shamita is on a rule-breaking spree! For the second time Shamita breaks the most important rule of the house. Bigg Boss decides to punish Shamita again and make sure that she does not speak in English again.

Bigg Boss addressed Shamita’s non Hindi speaking issue to all the housemates and decides that Shamita will be the voice for Rohit, who speaks Hindi very well. Therefore Shamita plays the role of a speaker for Rohit. Rohit cannot talk to anybody in the house; if he wants to say something then he has to explain Shamita in sign language.

Shamita has to interpret Rohit’s sign language and make the housemate understand. If Shamita and Rohit don’t follow this task properly they will be put into jail. Looks like Rohit has to pay for Shamita’s mistake. Will Shamita and Rohit be successful in not getting punished?

Shamita Shetty to go to jail?

Usually Monday mornings is never pleasant for any one, especially for the Bigg Boss housemates, as it's time again for nominations along with the weekly task. The nomination process begins and what's left to see is which two housemates get the maximum votes to be eliminated this week.

Later we will see one of the most important rules of the house being broken, again. We are all aware that speaking English is a strict no no. But for the second time, Shamita Shetty breaks this rule and Bigg Boss decides to punish her again.

As a punishment, Bigg Boss asks Shamita to be the voice for Rohit, if he wants to talk to any of the housemates, he will have to explain it to Shamita in sign language which she will have to interpret. Bigg Boss also tells her that if she fails in this, she will be sentenced to jail time.

Subsequently, Bigg Boss calls Bakhtiyaar in the confession room and assigns the weekly task titled Happy to Help. As a part of the task, five housemates at a time will have to make gift hampers for children.

In the evening, the housemates are busy with the task assigned to them. The first five housemates to take up the task are Vindu, Raju, Shamita, Claudia and Poonam. Thereafter Raju tries to cheer Rohit and as usual gets all the housemates in splits with his funny acts.

With this another day comes to an end at the Bigg Boss house. But what remains to be seen is whether the housemates are able to successfully complete the task this time, too.

Shilpa's Bigg Boss advice to sister Shamita Shetty

Shilpa Shetty, who won international reality show "Celebrity Big Brother" in 2007, could have given various tips to younger sister Shamita for surviving the Indian version of the show titled "Bigg Boss", but all she told her was "Be yourself".

"Shilpa completely backed off when 'Bigg Boss' was offered to me. She was absolutely not instrumental in helping me decide whether or not to take up the show. And when I decided to go for it, she never even gave me any tips. She just said - 'Be yourself', " Shamita told over phone from Amby Valley in Maharashtra, where the show is being shot.

Shamita, who made her Bollywood debut with "Mohabbatien" in 2000, is now in the "Bigg Boss" house, surviving without her family or any connection with the outside world. The show started Sunday.

"Bigg Boss", which airs on Colors, has other celebrities like Poonam Dhillon, Claudia Ciesla, Kamaal R. Khan, Sherlyn Chopra and Vindu Dara Singh competing with one another. The show being hosted by Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has the celebrities staying inside a specially designed house under constant camera surveillance and no contact with the outside world.

The last season of the reality show had been hosted by Shilpa Shetty following her "Big Brother" win.

Before entering the house, Shamita was excited about stepping into the small screen as well as testing her strengths on the show, where she will be staying for three months with 12 other strangers.

"Television is something different for me, something I haven't ventured into before. But I was ready for it. When Shilpa did 'Big Brother', people asked me if I would want to do it. But my answer was 'no'.

"However, in the past one year, I have become a very different person and I did feel that I have become strong enough to get into something like 'Bigg Boss', " she added.

Asked about the changes she has observed in her personality over the past year, Shamita said: "Well, I have been attending a course at the Oneness University for a long time. And that has helped me understand myself and life in a very different perspective.

"I am more aware of my strengths and weaknesses as a person and I do believe my stint in 'Bigg Boss' will help me be an even stronger person, " she said.

So how will she handle the difference of opinion and preferences between the occupants of the "Bigg Boss" house?

"My intention of going to this show is very positive. I am quite an adjusting person and I hope all goes well because I plan to keep a smile on my face always.

"I know there will be a blend of different people on the show, but I don't know what to expect. I am just going to have fun there, " Shamita said.

Apart from her family and friends, the actress says she will miss watching television, music and her privacy.

"Music is my life. I don't know how I'll live without it...but I guess, that's the real challenge of being on 'Bigg Boss', " she added.

Shilpa Shetty celebrated her 34th birthday yesterday with a surprise party thrown by beau Raj Kundra and sister Shamita. Says a family friend, "Shamita and Raj have been planning the bash for a month. Nobody in Mumbai was allowed to talk to Shilpa as they did not want the secret to be out. In fact, Shilpa didn't even know that Shamita had flown in to London on Sunday to celebrate her birthday. When Shilpa saw her sis, she squealed in delight!"

Shane Warne spotted Getting cosy with Shamita Shetty!

B-town starlet Shamita Shetty seems to be getting very friendly with cricketer Shane Warne. Shane, who is the captain and coach of Shilpa Shetty’s IPL team, Rajasthan Royals, was recently seen sharing an interesting chemistry with Shamita.

Grapevine has it that Shane and Shamita got really close and intimate at a South African nightclub. But when the paparazzi landed up there, Shamita took the back exit and left the place.

Reacting to the buzz about her camaraderie with Shane, Shamita said, "I've interacted with him only three times. It was a match-win party where all my friends and family were present and so were the RR players, Warne included. I wasn't there with him all alone."

According to our source, Warne, who is known to be a ladies' man, met the younger Shetty just once before the IPL. But the actress is familiar with Shane's controversial past and is, therefore, keeping her distance.
