In the movie, Bipasha nurses a child, who is a victim of pedophilia. Sudipto is leaving no stones unturned to make his movie as realistic as possible. The grapevine suggests that the filmmaker has roped in some real-life prostitutes who will play themselves in the movie.

Pankh narrates a story about a little boy in the film industry who masquerades as a girl to become a child star but later faces an identity crisis and eventually turns into a drug abuser.

Standing there on the stage, when the IIFA awards at Macau were coming to a close, Ashutosh out of the blue announced that he wished Ash had won the award for Jodhaa Akbar (his film) rather than Priyanka winning it for Fashion. (Ashutosh seems to be becoming quite adept at creating controversies at award ceremonies). To make it worse, he further added that Jaya Bachchan also thought so.
Later, there were reports that Priyanka took it badly and seemed very upset. But looks like things are not as bad as it seems. According to a source close to the actor, "Priyanka and Ashu are very fond of each other and there is no tension between them."
And the 12 special songs might look like Ashutosh's way of making up for the humiliation, but sources insist the songs were well planned even before the incident. "Ashutosh is not doing anything out of the way. It's a plan that they always had," the source says.
When contacted Priyanka only chose to say, "There are 12 characters belonging to different zodiac signs, so the 12 songs. It's amazing how Sohail Sen (the music composer) has brought all of them together with a range and mixture of distinctive sounds. Each song is unique and depicts each character's story."

I want to be a Villain now: Shreyas

After getting recognition in both serious as well as comedy films, actor Shreyas Talpade now wants to play a villain.

"I did try my hands playing a negative character in Aggar, but the film didn't work well. However, I havent played a full-fledged negative role so far. In fact, I am now looking for the role of a villain. I have been experimenting with myself. And this is the only thing which is left and I will do that as well," Talpade says.

After delivering hit comedies like Apna Sapna Money Money, Golmal Returns and Welcome to Sajjanpur, he will once again be seen in another laugh riot Paying Guest opposite bikini-girl Celina Jaitley.

Talking about his role in the film where he disguises himself as a housewife to stay as a paying guest, the 33-year-old actor said that its challenging for anyone to play a woman with enough of conviction. "Even the make-up used to take a long time. I took almost two to three hours to get ready," he says.

Directed by scriptwriter-turned-director Paritosh Painter, the film revolves around four young boys - Shreyas Talpade, Aashish Choudhary, Javed Jafferi and Vatsal Sheth who are looking for an accommodation. The film also stars Neha Dhupia and Riya Sen.

When asked about the secret behind his not being stereotyped as an actor, he says, "I dont know the reason. I am fortunate enough to have got all kinds of roles and worked with all kinds of directors. I am happy that everyone has a role for me which they think will suit me".

But is doing a slapstick comedy equally challenging as playing a 'bahurupia' the one he played in Nagesh Kukunoors Dor?

"Yes. I love films. For me, a film is a film and it doesn't matter which category it falls into. You have to put in the same kind of effort for both. Comedy is actually a little more difficult because it is difficult to make people genuinely laugh. And as long as I am enjoying it, I will keep doing it," the actor, who is liked by audiences and critics alike said.

Describing Dor as his best work, he says that each of his films has taken him a step forward in life.

On reports that he would be playing legendary singer Kishore Kumar in Kukunoors next film, he says, "There have been rumours like this. Nothing is final so far. But that would be really challenging for any actor to play Kishore da, as he is still a legend."

TV shows using child Actors in jeopardy?

ust as a number of TV shows were getting ready to bid adieu to their child actors, there is some more news regarding children and TV shows.

The Maharashtra government has said that kids working on TV shows like Balika Vadhu and Maayaka counts as child labour, and therefore has decided to put a stop to this practice.

A list of shows with child actors has been drawn and shows like Sri Krishna, Balika Vadhu, Chhote Ustaad, Chak De Bachche, Maayaka are said to be the ones who will have to answer as to why this doesn't count as child labour.

Meanwhile, Nawab Malik, Labour Minister of the Maharashtra government said they will file cases tomorrow against eight producers for employing child artists.

She added that, “Some survivors become intolerbly homophobic and some unhealthily aggressive. Disastrously, masculinity and power often get confused with obusiveness. For both men and women, the first step towards healing is breaking the silence about their abuse”.

When I finally did, dad did all he could to dissuade me. I thought he would be supportive of my decision, but he was totally against it. It took me months to convince him and finally I got him to shoot my portfolio.”

She has since gone on to star in the films Khilada as Monica, Company as Kannu, Road, Dama Mana Hai and Naach. In 2005 Antara Mali tried her hand at directing. She penned the script for her first movie Mr Ya Miss which was produced by Ram Gopal Varma productions. Mali’s film did not recieve rave reviews as did her prior films. Since then Antara has left her acting career behind and has not appeared in film in the last four years.

Freida Pinto admits relationship with Dev Patel

Slumdog Millionaire" actress Freida Pinto has come out and spoken for the first time about her friendship with co-star Dev Patel saying it has become stronger.

Thesun.co.uk reports that the two were seen getting intimate in Israel and were also spotted shopping for a ring here after the film was released.

The 24-year-old actress has called 19-year-old Patel a "lovely boy".

"The friendship blossomed after the film, it got even stronger. This is all new to us," she added.

SRK to gift his Bodyguard a flat

Shahrukh Khan has decided to gift his bodyguard Yaseen Khan a flat as a wedding gift. Yaseen has been staying at Shahrukh’s Mannat ever since he had started working with him. But now when he is getting married, he is finding little awkward to stay at Shahrukh's house with his newly wedded. Understanding his uneasiness, King Khan has decided to gift Yaseen a falt who hails from Karnataka.

Says a source, "Ever since he began working with SRK over a decade ago, he has been traveling with the actor wherever he goes, including his overseas shoots. But a single guy living under his roof is quite different from someone who has a wife and wants to start a family. And so,when he told SRK that he was tying the knot, it was clear to both that he'd need a new place. That's when SRK decided to present his most trusted guy a wedding gift he would remember."

Shahrukh did like him to stay nearby his house and so he will go for a flat somewhere at Bandra. Yaseen who is on a short visit to his hometown will join Shahrukh in New York where he is shooting for ‘My Name Is Khan’.
